HEMONC 2012 Welcomes EmpiriStat's Dr. Nicole Close

EmpiriStat President and Principal Biostatistician Nicole Close, PhD, has accepted an invitation to be a guest lecturer at The George Washington University's 2012 HEMONC, an eight-day offering of courses on Hematology and Medical Oncology Best Practices. This five- or eight-day comprehensive review of clinical best practices is presented by many of the nation's leading clinicians and educators in the field, and will welcome more than 300 colleagues.

Primarily geared towards those physicians preparing for the certification/recertification exam, the 20-year old course is also valuable to those attendees simply seeking a comprehensive review of evidence-based standards of care.
Dr. Close will join course director, Dr. Robert S. Siegel and more than 50 physicians in providing this important, comprehensive review.  Dr. Close, a leading biostatistician, is well-known, not only for the wide variety of services that she provides through her clinical research organization, EmpiriStat, but also for her lectures to academic and military institutions, and pharmaceutical firms.
