Join EmpiriStat in Boston for the MAGI Clinical Research Conference

EmpiriStat President Dr. Nicole Close is heading to Boston, Massachusetts for a speaking engagement at this year’s MAGI Clinical Research Conference-East, May 23-26, 2010, Sheraton Boston Hotel. Sponsored jointly by First Clinical Research and the International Institute for Business Information and Growth, LLC, this year’s conference is titled “Focusing on Clinical Trial Operations, Regulatory, Contracts and Budgets,” and will feature:

  • 150+ speakers
  • 92 interactive sessions and workshops in six tracks: sponsor operations, site operations, regulatory and ethics, contracts, budgets and billing, and additional special topics
  • Exceptional networking environment and activities: Two-thirds of attendees will have 5+ years of experience. About 52% of attendees will be from sites, 27% from sponsors, and 25% from CROs and other service providers.
  • 20+ continuing education credits (CME, CNE, and CLE); CNE hours qualify for nursing, ACRP, APPI, NAIM, PMI, PRIM&R, RACC, RAPS and SoCRA hours.
MAGI conferences feature a coherent program emphasizing practical tips based on real-life examples, with lots of interaction and networking.
Dr. Close will be presenting her talk, “Biostatistics for Mere Mortals,” on Sunday, May 23rd, 2010, and intends for the information to be a valuable introduction to the statistical principles which form the foundation for the design and analysis of clinical trials. She will concentrate on the philosophy and understanding of the statistical principles that are used on a daily basis in conducting clinical trials. Anyone involved in clinical trials will find new and useful insights on the world of a biostatistician.
As anyone knows who has attended any of Dr. Close’s vibrant, interactive training sessions and speaking engagements knows, the MAGI programs fits perfectly within EmpiriStat’s efforts at engaging and educating the Clinical Research community. Dr. Close is eager to share her wisdom and knowledge as an experienced Biostatistician, Clinical Trialist and Epidemiologist with the MAGI audience.
In addition to early-bird discounts, a $100 friend-of-the-speaker discount is available for a limited time. Please Email us ([email protected]) and we will provide you with a discount code to use when registering.
